Meridian Banquets is one of the best venues in the Chicago region for weddings. Their meticulously decorated high ceiling banquet rooms are absolutely beautiful and elegant. Meridian Banquets is located at 1701 W Algonquin Rd, Rolling Meadows, IL 60008. Just minutes from 290 and 90. Whether you’re traveling from Chicago or the suburbs, it’s easy to get here. This may not sound all that important, but your guests will definitely appreciate a venue that’s easy to get to. They also have a large parking lot which is convenient for you and all of your guests. The easier you make things for your guests, the easier it is for them to relax and have a good time. And who doesn’t want that?
2) Beautiful Rooms (obviously)
The rooms at Meridian are big and extravagant. Every inch is thought about and there’s no bad angle. The high ceilings, beautiful chandeliers, and well placed up-lighting make a “wow” statement when walking into the room. It’s a wonderful atmosphere for a wedding. Even though they’re large rooms, they feel intimate and the styling is elegant and timeless. The colors and styling can be customized to fit your vision. 3) Friendly Staff
The people at Meridian are all so friendly. I’ve personally worked with Joyce and Tina and they’re both genuinely nice people that just want to help you have the best wedding possible. When vendors are on your side, it really makes the whole wedding planning process so much easier. The staff on the day of the wedding work extremely hard to make sure everything runs smoothly. I really have nothing negative to say about them and I wouldn’t be writing this blog if I didn’t enjoy working with them. I’m certain you’ll have the same experience as well.
4) Great Food
Dinner is a BIG part of your wedding day. When your guests have a good meal, their overall experience will be that much better. I mean, no one ever wants a bad meal, right? Fortunately, Meridian serves really good food. Like, really good. That have an array of options to choose from and they’re fast at serving all of your guests in a timely manner. 5) Grand Lobby
The first impression you have of a venue is the lobby when you first walk in. Meridian has an exceptional lobby that is large with different spots for people to hangout. The lobby might not be a priority for you, but there are always some guests that prefer to hang outside of the room. It’s really nice when they have a place to go and mingle with others. Not only that, but it also makes another great location for some bride+groom photos! I always like to take my couples aside for 5-10 minutes for a few more portraits. Having the option to go outside of the banquet room for a different look is always refreshing. Meridian has some really cool couch and chair setups that make amazing backdrops for either bride+groom photos or even a group photos.

6) Amazing Stage for Wedding Photos
I couldn’t make a list without including how awesome Meridian is for photos! When everything comes together - decorations, center pieces, linens, and lighting - it makes for a wonderful backdrop for timeless, elegant photographs. It’s then my job to add lighting for people’s faces and position myself in a prime spot to capture beautiful moments in the best way possible. Meridian Banquets is truly a great place for a wedding. I shoot a lot of weddings at all sorts of venues and I can honestly say that Meridian is one of my favorites.
